Manent
Cesar G. Manent, CFP® is a Partner and
Co-Founder of 5th Street Advisors, LLC. His
professional career includes twenty years of
experience in both commercial and investment
banking, and six years of experience in
investment management and financial
planning. Previously, Mr. Manent held
senior management positions at Chase
Manhattan Bank, First Chicago, Republic
National Bank of New York and HSBC Bank,
USA.
Mr. Manent's primary responsibility at 5th
Street Advisors is portfolio creation and
portfolio management, and working closely
with individual clients to gauge risk
tolerance versus expected returns issues.
As a Certified Financial Planner (TM), Mr.
Manent also oversees all client planning
issues.
Mr. Manent was born in Spain. He received
both a Bachelor's degree and an MBA from the
University of South Carolina. He is
tri-lingual in English, Spanish and Catalan,
and is conversant in Portuguese.
Mr. Manent is married and has two daughters.
He resides in Chappaqua, New York, and is
very active in community service.
Abelardo S. Curdumi
Abelardo S. Curdumi, CFP® is a partner and
co-founder of 5th Street Advisors, LLC. His
professional career includes twenty-six
years of experience in both commercial and
investment banking. Prior to launching 5th
Street, Mr. Curdumi held senior management
positions at First Chicago Corporation,
Republic National Bank of New York, and HSBC
Bank, USA.
At 5th Street, Mr. Curdumi's
primary responsibility is risk management
and mitigation. His areas of great
expertise include estate planning, property
and casualty insurance, life, disability and
long-term care insurance as well as the uses
of sophisticated trust strategies.
Mr. Curdumi is originally from Cuba. He
received a Bachelor of Science in Foreign
Service from Georgetown University, and also
earned a Masters Degree in International
Management from the American Graduate School
of International Management. He is
bilingual in English and Spanish, and
conversant in French and Portuguese.
Mr. Curdumi is married and has two
children. He resides in Old Greenwich,
Connecticut, where he has long been active
in community service. He is currently a
Commissioner of the Housing Authority of the
Town of Greenwich, and served as on the
Representative Town Meeting (an elected
position), representing Greenwich's 6th
District. He is a past member of The
Advisory Council of The Council of the
Americas, and was selected by the Chairman
of First Chicago Corporation to serve on
then-President Ronald Reagan's Commission on
Cost Control.
Lucas J. Meyer
Lucas J. Meyer is a Partner and Co-Founder
of 5th Street Advisors, LLC.
Mr. Meyer's professional career includes
twenty years of experience in both trading
and private banking, and six years of
investment management/financial planning.
He began his career as a junior trader in
1981 at Republic National Bank of New York.
During his tenure there, he held various
roles in New York and in Latin America,
attaining the title of Managing Director and
Treasurer of International Private Banking
for the Americas.
Mr. Meyer's primary responsibility at 5th
Street Advisors is business development.
Mr. Meyer is a
native New Yorker, and received a Bachelors
degree in History from Colgate University.
He is bilingual in English and
Spanish. He is married, has three
children, and resides in Scarsdale, NY where
he has long been actively involved in civic
affairs. He is a Trustee of the Scarsdale
Historical Society, immediate past-President
of the Old Scarsdale Neighborhood
Association, Chairman of the Committee for
Historic Preservation (an appointive
position), and has twice held the elected
office of Nominator in the town's
non-partisan government.
