Maryellen Schwartz is a Senior Wealth Advisor at 5th Street Advisors.  Based out of Chicago, she advises individuals and families, and is especially passionate about helping women clients achieve financial success.  Prior to joining 5th Street, Maryellen worked in the insurance industry, with a focus on property and casualty claims adjusting and underwriting.  She received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University 1977, where she was an active member and held leadership positions in Alpha Kappa Psi, the coed business fraternity. 

Maryellen was born in Wilmette, Illinois. She is married, has three grown children, one son and two daughters, and lives in Chicago.
